We'll be hitting the road for the first time this fall as part of a mini-tour with shows in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Francisco. But before that you can catch us at two big local festivals with some big international headliners: WRUW's Studio-A-Rama with Cloud Nothings on Saturday, Sept. 8th (set time TBA) and the Ingenuity Festival with Dragonette and The Knocks the following Saturday, Sept. 15th (set time TBA). Release-wise, thank you for your continued support of the People Talk EP, which can now be found in compacted disc form at Cleveland's finest record shop, Music Saves, in addition to iTunes, Bandcamp and the new Merch Store on the right. The EP's first single, "Just Fine With You," will be getting the official Single Treatment as a limited cassette and digital download with remixes from Tommy, Hemingway and a few other mystery producers. Listen to the first remix by France's Tommy, whom you can also hear on the new Lifelike "Getting High" Remix EP, below.
Finally, I am elated to tell you that my debut album Headlines will be out next year. That's right, album: 12-13 new songs (and some old favorites) that will be better mixed, professionally engineered and carefully crafted for your longing ears, broken hearts and moving dance feet. It will also feature several collaborators, whose talents I think will push the album to new and exciting heights.
